The Colorado High School Activities Association announced on Mar. 24 the all-state boys basketball teams for the 2025-26 season, as presented by CHSAANow.com and MaxPreps.
The announcement recognizes top high school boys basketball players across Colorado, based on votes from head coaches statewide. Players were selected to first team, second team, and honorable mention lists in each classification.
A player of the year and coach of the year were named in every class. In Class 6A, Eric Fiedler from Regis Jesuit was chosen as Player of the Year, while Kent Grams from Rock Canyon was selected as Coach of the Year. Madden Smiley from Windsor received Player of the Year honors in Class 5A with Bob Banning from Silver Creek recognized as Coach of the Year. Caleb Fay and Todd Schayes, both from Kent Denver, earned Player and Coach of the Year awards respectively in Class 4A.
For Class 3A, Matthew Lebron of Banning Lewis Academy was named Player of the Year and Kyle Bollers from Strasburg took home Coach of the Year honors. The voting resulted in a tie for first team selections in this class, leading to six players being included on that list. In Class 2A, Tatum Kocerha (Simla) was awarded Player of the Year with David Guy (Simla) earning Coach recognition; while Tuff Kelley (McClave) and Denis Bringelson (Prairie) received those respective honors in Class 1A.
Selections are determined by votes submitted by head coaches throughout Colorado. Each classification features a full roster including first team members—highlighting standout athletes—and extensive honorable mention lists recognizing additional contributions during this past season.
This annual recognition serves to highlight athletic achievement among high school students statewide through an inclusive voting process involving coaching staff input at every level.
