The Colorado High School Activities Association announced on Mar. 25 the all-state girls basketball teams for the 2025-26 season. The selections, presented by CHSAANow.com and MaxPreps, are based on votes from head coaches across Colorado.
These annual recognitions highlight outstanding athletes and coaches in each classification, with players placed onto first team, second team, and honorable mention lists according to vote totals. A separate vote determined both player of the year and coach of the year in every class.
In Class 6A, Brihanna Crittendon from Riverdale Ridge was named Player of the Year while Caryn Jarocki from Highlands Ranch received Coach of the Year honors. Due to ties in voting, six players were selected for both first and second teams in this class. Jojo Martin of Standley Lake earned Player of the Year in Class 5A with Robby Gabrielli from Lutheran named Coach of the Year. For Class 4A, Gracie Ward from Holy Family was chosen as Player of the Year alongside her coach Mike Quintana as Coach of the Year.
Class 3A recognized Braeden Johnson from Salida as Player of the Year and Christopher Bainbridge also from Salida as Coach of the Year. In Class 2A, Carlee Cox (Simla) took home Player of the Year while Doug Cox (Simla) was voted Coach of the Year; a tie resulted in six players making up its second team roster. Abrielle Gomez (McClave) received top honors as Player of the Year for Class 1A with Kayla Daniel (Flagler) being selected as Coach of the Year; there was also a tie among second team honorees here.
Honorable mentions were awarded to dozens more athletes statewide who contributed significantly during their seasons across all classifications.
The release underscores how these selections celebrate athletic achievement throughout Colorado high school basketball each year.
