The Colorado High School Activities Association announced on May 4 that the 2026 boys swimming and diving state championships will be held Feb. 8-9. The Class 4A meet is scheduled for the Arvada Aquatic Center in Arvada, while the Class 5A competition will take place at the Veterans Memorial Aquatics Center in Thornton.
The event is significant as it brings together top high school athletes from across Colorado to compete for state titles in both swimming and diving. The association released detailed schedules for each class, outlining session times and locations.
For Class 5A, preliminary swimming heats are set for Friday afternoon at 5 p.m., with diving finals Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m., followed by swim finals Saturday afternoon at 5 p.m. Psych sheets listing all qualifiers will be available, along with heat sheets and results for each session. The association also noted that fans can watch live coverage of both prelims and finals through the NFHS Network.
Class 4A events begin Friday morning with diving championships at 10 a.m., then move to swimming preliminaries Friday afternoon at 5 p.m., concluding with swim finals Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. As with Class 5A, psych sheets, heat sheets, results, and live streaming options are provided to keep participants and spectators informed throughout the championship weekend.
