Rep. Jason Crow, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Colorado’s 6th district, has expressed concerns through a series of tweets on February 4, 2025. These tweets address issues related to immigration policies and the involvement of billionaires in government affairs.

In a tweet posted at 19:31 UTC, Rep. Crow stated his recent oversight visit to Buckley Space Force Base was conducted to personally assess its usage. He criticized the mass deportation of peaceful migrants and children, labeling it as “not just immoral,” but also detrimental to both community and economy. Crow emphasized his commitment by stating, “I won’t back down from my obligation to defend my community and…”.

At 20:33 UTC on the same day, Rep. Crow addressed concerns about the access of sensitive government data by billionaires who are unaccountable to the American public. He specifically mentioned tax returns and Social Security payments as examples of such data that should remain protected. In his tweet, he declared, “This is not what people voted for & I will fight these efforts.”

In another tweet posted simultaneously at 20:33 UTC, Rep. Crow questioned why current circumstances involving Elon Musk differ from previous administrations where billionaires have served roles. He pointed out that Musk “wasn’t elected,” nor confirmed by the Senate, highlighting a lack of transparency or oversight in Musk’s efforts. The congressman remarked on this issue by stating, “Billionaires have served in prior Administrations. Why is this different?”
