The Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) has announced the Nordic Skiing All-State Teams for the 2025-26 season. The teams were selected by the Colorado High School Ski League and are based on performances from both the regular season and the CHSAA State Championships. Points from both classic and skate disciplines were combined to determine selections.
The top eight point scorers in each category received first team all-state honors, while the next eight were named to the second team. The CHSAA Skier of the Year was determined by which athlete earned the most points for their team at this year’s state championships.
Eva Hagen of Summit was named Nordic Coach of the Year. Lucy Greenwood from Summit received recognition as Girls Nordic Skier of the Year, and John Ryan, also from Summit, was named Boys Nordic Skier of the Year.
Girls First Team All-State honorees include Lucy Greenwood (Summit), Chloe King (Lake County), Aimee Lenhard (Lake County), Marin Little (Summit), Maeve Niemkiewicz (Summit), Finnley Stanek (Lake County), Kajsa Wik (Nederland), and Lyza Zoller (Lake County).
The Girls Second Team features Bree Byrnes (Middle Park), Ruthie DeMino (Battle Mountain), Isla Elton (Vail Mountain), Evie Fisher (Steamboat Springs), Peyton Fosha (Middle Park), Hattie Mallozzi (Lake County), Eliza Pyke (Battle Mountain), and Corinne Schmanke (Middle Park).
On the boys side, First Team All-State selections are Jonah Barber (Eagle Valley), Griffin Heins (Summit), Jackson Mclaren (Steamboat Springs), Carter Niemkiewicz (Summit), Levi Ryan (Summit), John Ryan (Summit), Leo Tornatzky (Poudre School District) and Charlie Wiedel (Steamboat Springs).
Second Team boys honorees include Wilson Anderson (Lake County), Tyler Blair (Eagle Valley), Teddy Brunner (Vail Mountain), Daniel Butler (Summit), Chase Fosha (Middle Park), Ben Kaune (Middle Park), Christopher Marsh (Eagle Valley) and Jude Peters (Lake County).
“Eva Hagen from Summit is recognized as Nordic Coach of the Year,” according to CHSAA. “Lucy Greenwood, Summit, is named Girls Nordic Skier of the Year,” said a CHSAA representative. “John Ryan, Summit, is named Boys Nordic Skier of the Year,” stated CHSAA.
