The Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) has published its preseason coaches’ polls for boys volleyball ahead of the 2026 season. The polls predict that Eaglecrest will defend its Class 5A title, while Regis Groff is expected to repeat as champions in Class 4A.
The regular season for boys volleyball is scheduled to begin on February 26 and will conclude on April 28. Regional competitions are set to finish by May 2, with the state championships taking place from May 7 to May 9 at Fountain-Fort Carson’s Trojan Arena.
In the Class 4A rankings, Regis Groff holds the top spot, followed by D’Evelyn and Pueblo South tied for second. Severance is ranked fourth, with Colorado Springs Christian rounding out the top five. Other teams in the top ten include Mullen, Lutheran, DSST: College View, Stargate School, and Denver Waldorf. Several schools also received votes but did not make the top ten.
For Class 5A, Eaglecrest leads the poll. Littleton Public Schools is ranked second, followed by Grandview in third and Mountain Vista in fourth. Discovery Canyon completes the top five. The rest of the top ten includes Valor Christian, Douglas County, Legacy, Castle View, and Arvada West. Additional teams received votes outside of the top ten.
