Rep. Jason Crow, a U.S. Congressman representing Colorado’s 6th district, recently shared insights and updates through his social media posts. The congressman, who has been serving since 2019 after succeeding Mike Coffman, discussed community engagement and addressed concerning events in Colorado.
On June 1, 2025, Rep. Crow posted about his participation in a town hall meeting at the Community College of Aurora. He stated, “Joined faculty & staff at the Community College of Aurora this week for a town hall! @CCAurora trains the next generation of Coloradans to succeed & thrive. It was great to sit down with their staff and discuss how I can best serve them in Congress.”
Later that day, he addressed reports of violence in Boulder with a post on social media: “I am closely monitoring reports of a terror attack at Pearl Street Mall in Boulder. My thoughts are with everyone impacted by this senseless act of violence. Hate-fueled violence has no place in Colorado.” This statement highlights his concern over local safety issues.
On June 2, 2025, Rep. Crow expressed alarm over rising antisemitism following an attack in Boulder. He wrote: “Antisemitism is real. Sadly, it’s on the rise in America. The Boulder attack is horrifying, cowardly, and unacceptable. We must call it out for what it is—targeted political violence at the Jewish community meant to spread fear. We can’t let hate win.” His remarks underscore the importance of addressing targeted political violence.
Born in Madison, Wisconsin in 1979 and currently residing in Aurora, Jason Crow holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin and the University of Denver.
