Rep. Jason Crow, a U.S. Congressman representing Colorado’s 6th district since 2019, has recently posted several statements on his official Twitter account addressing issues ranging from military policy to housing rights for pet owners.
On May 4, 2026, Crow commented on the burden of war borne by working-class Americans, stating, “It’s always working class kids who have to do the fighting and dying for the elites’ forever wars. It’s time to stop the madness.”
The following day, May 5, Crow addressed housing insecurity faced by pet owners in Colorado: “No one should have to choose between their pet and a roof over their head. I’ve introduced bipartisan legislation to keep Coloradans and their four-legged companions together, no matter where they call home.”
Later that same day, Crow called for congressional action regarding ongoing international conflict: “Americans have had enough with the endless cycle of conflict. Congress needs to end this war with Iran.”
Crow was born in Madison, Wisconsin in 1979 and currently resides in Aurora. He holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison (2002) and a JD from the University of Denver (2009). He succeeded Mike Coffman as representative of Colorado’s 6th district after the 2018 election.
