Rep. Jason Crow, a U.S. Congressman representing Colorado’s 6th district since 2019, has posted a series of statements on his social media account addressing recent military actions and political leadership.
On April 7, 2026, Crow wrote: “Speaker Johnson must immediately call Congress back to end this war and stop Donald Trump’s madness.”
The following day, he commented on reports of civilian casualties in a U.S. military operation: “This is completely unacceptable. A U.S. military strike on an elementary school killed at least 175 civilians. One month later, Pete Hegseth is still refusing to answer questions. Americans deserve transparency & accountability.” This post highlights concerns over both the incident and the response from officials.
Later that same day, Crow added: “You know who always benefits from war? The political elite. Big Oil & Defense executives. You know who always does the fighting? Working class folks like I served and grew up with.”
Crow, born in Madison, Wisconsin in 1979 and currently residing in Aurora, has previously served as a member of the armed forces before entering politics. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2002 and earned his JD from the University of Denver in 2009.
