Rep. Jason Crow, who represents Colorado’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on May 7, 2026, criticizing Republican spending priorities and alleging political intimidation by the President.
In a tweet published at 16:38 UTC, Crow stated: “Republicans just found $1 BILLION in your taxpayer dollars for Donald Trump’s ballroom. Yet they can’t find a dollar to bring down the cost of gas, rent, or health care.”
Later that day at 19:11 UTC, he commented on alleged efforts by the President to target political opponents: “The President is trying to intimidate & punish his political opponents. He chose the wrong people. @SenMarkKelly is an American patriot. Neither of us will be bullied, intimidated, or back down from doing our jobs.”
At 23:26 UTC on May 7, Crow posted another message addressing concerns about government spending and corruption: “The corruption is staggering. Golden ballrooms. Private planes. New golf courses. All as working class folks can’t afford groceries, gas, or health care. We have to clean up Washington and unrig the system.”
Crow has served in Congress since replacing Mike Coffman in 2019 and currently resides in Aurora after being born in Madison, Wisconsin in 1979.1 He holds degrees from both the University of Wisconsin–Madison and the University of Denver.2 Crow’s recent statements reflect ongoing debates over federal budget allocations and broader frustrations regarding economic pressures faced by working-class Americans.
