Rep. Jason Crow, who represents Colorado’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, used his social media platform this week to voice concerns about American foreign policy priorities and domestic affordability issues.
On May 3, Crow posted: “We lost thousands of lives and spent trillions of dollars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Americans don’t want more Middle East wars. They want cheaper groceries, healthcare, and gas.”
The following day, he addressed former President Donald Trump’s remarks on government spending: “Donald Trump says we can’t pay for health care because we’re fighting wars. The American people want us to focus on making things more affordable at home, not bombing countries overseas.” (May 4).
Later that same day, Crow criticized the Department of Justice under Trump’s administration: “Instead of focusing on organized crime, cyber threats, and elder fraud, Donald Trump’s Department of Justice is going after his political opponents. Americans are rightfully upset at this.” (May 4).
Crow has served as a member of Congress since 2019 after replacing Mike Coffman. He was born in Madison, Wisconsin in 1979 and currently resides in Aurora. Crow holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a JD from the University of Denver.
