Rep. Jason Crow, a U.S. Congressman representing Colorado’s 6th district since 2019, recently used his social media platform to comment on several political and personal topics, including the congressional shutdown, support for Afghan allies, and his electoral history.
On August 5, 2025, Crow addressed the ongoing congressional impasse in a post stating, “It’s been days since Republicans shut down Congress to stop the release of the Epstein files. #ReleaseTheEpsteinFiles “.
Later that day, Crow referenced his military service and legislative efforts with another post: “I fought in Afghanistan. I might not be here today were it not for the brave Afghans I fought with. My new bill would help strengthen our national security, protect Afghans who fought alongside the U.S., and ensure America lives up to its promises.”
In a third message posted on August 5, Crow reflected on his electoral achievement: “In 2018, I flipped a GOP seat to help take back the House. I’m proud to be the first Democrat to represent my community.”
Crow has represented Colorado’s 6th District since defeating Mike Coffman in 2018 and is noted as the first Democrat elected from this district. He was born in Madison, Wisconsin in 1979 and currently resides in Aurora. Crow holds degrees from both the University of Wisconsin–Madison (BA) and the University of Denver (JD).
