City of Aurora issued the following announcement on Aug. 24.
The city of Aurora’s Business Advisory Board is inviting small business owners to participate in a virtual town hall at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, to discuss a proposed minimum wage ordinance in Aurora that is being introduced this week at a council policy committee.
After registering, a confirmation email will be sent that contains information about joining the webinar. The event is capped at 250 attendees.
The Aurora City Council’s Management and Finance Policy Committee will have an initial discussion about a proposed minimum wage ordinance in Aurora from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, during their virtual meeting. To listen to the council policy committee meeting, call 1.877.820.7831 and enter participant code 254610#. Any ordinance would ultimately have to go before the full City Council for further discussion and voting.
