Fremont County ranked 17th in Colorado for resident earnings in 2018

Fremont County ranked 17th among counties in Colorado by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Fremont County residents was $23,461 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 17,163 households with a population of 47,002.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Gilpin County with $44,881 per year after adjusting for inflation – $21,420 more than Fremont County. It had 2,653 households with a population of 5,924.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Crowley County with $14,826 per year after adjusting for inflation – $8,635 less than Fremont County. It had 1,194 households with a population of 5,630.
