The second quarter of 2021: Home prices in Aurora (Arapahoe County) increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in Aurora in Arapahoe County rose by $79,000 while total sales increased by 18.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were 1,632 homes sold, with a median sale price of $420,000 - a 23.2% increase over the $341,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,378 homes sold in Aurora in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Aurora for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,705, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
