Home prices increased in Deer Trail during the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Deer Trail rose by $107,500 while total sales increased by 37.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $215,000 - a 100% increase over the $107,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Deer Trail in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Deer Trail for 2018 was $822. In 2017, the median sales tax was $809. This marks an increase of 1.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.4%.
