Home prices increased in Byers during the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Byers rose by $147,500 while total sales increased by 60 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $427,500 - a 52.7 percent increase over the $280,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Byers in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Byers for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $911, approximately 0.2 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
