Rep. Jason Crow, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Colorado’s 6th district, shared a series of tweets on January 21, 2025, addressing recent legal developments related to the January 6th Capitol attack and subsequent actions by former President Trump.

In one tweet, Rep. Crow highlighted the case of Edwin Rodriguez who pleaded guilty to felony assault of an officer. He detailed the aftermath for one officer involved, stating "An officer who was sprayed by Rodriguez said her eyes burnt for about a week, and she gets migraines all the time that can last for days or for weeks. She also has nightmares and PTSD from January 6th." This tweet was posted on January 21, 2025.

Another tweet from Rep. Crow mentioned Robert Palmer's guilty plea for assaulting an officer during the same event. He described Palmer's actions as "assaulting an officer by spraying a fire extinguisher at law enforcement, then throwing it at them." This information was also shared on January 21, 2025.

Additionally, Rep. Crow commented on former President Trump's decision to commute sentences of certain individuals associated with far-right extremist groups such as the Proud Boys. He noted that Enrique Tarrio had been convicted of seditious conspiracy and violent acts and quoted Tarrio saying after the attack: “Make no mistake . . . we did this.” This tweet was published on January 21, 2025.
