Rep. Jason Crow, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Colorado's 6th district, has expressed concerns through a series of tweets about the actions and policies of the Trump administration. Crow, who replaced Mike Coffman in 2019, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and the University of Denver.
On January 29, 2025, Rep. Crow tweeted about his dissatisfaction with what he perceives as "chaos and confusion from the Trump administration" that is negatively impacting families and communities. He emphasized that federal grants and loans are essential for providing housing to homeless veterans, supporting local hospitals, and funding programs like Meals on Wheels. He urged "The White House needs to get it together."
The following day, January 30, 2025, Rep. Crow addressed another concern regarding community health centers in Colorado. He warned that freezing their funding could endanger healthcare access for approximately 850,000 residents in the state. Criticizing recent executive orders as "sloppy," he stated his commitment to highlighting their consequences: "I will continue to call out their chaos."
Later on January 30, Rep. Crow provided insights into national security by discussing the creation of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) position in 2005 after reforms were made post-9/11 attacks. He noted that these changes were implemented because intelligence agencies lacked coordination at the time of those events: "The primary lesson learned after 9/11 was that our intelligence agencies weren't coordinated."
