Police handcuffs(1000)

Arapahoe County Government issued the following announcement on June 9.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office Headquarters in Centennial has suffered flooding and severe water damage after last night’s heavy rainstorm. The roof of the building sustained damage due to the heavy winds over the weekend which led to structural damage in the interior of the building, such as collapsed ceiling tiles, buckling walls and standing water.

Clean-up crews are currently working to remove the water, dry and dehumidify the building, while contractors work to repair the roof. The building, located at 13101 E. Broncos Parkway in Centennial, is closed until further notice. We are asking the public to do all their business online. Please continue to follow us on social media throughout the day for updates.
