Arapahoe County issued the following announcement on August 3.

When you want to go on a road trip, what do you do first? You pick a destination, for sure, then you begin planning on how to get there. You look at maps and guides, you consult with your family and friends on what to bring, where to visit and what to do along the way. You identify the resources you’ll need—and the people you’ll involve—to ensure a successful trip. The same process holds true with planning for the future, and that’s why we’d like your help developing a new transportation road map for Arapahoe County. This year, we’re embarking on a process to update the existing Arapahoe County Transportation Master Plan with an eye toward 2040. The plan launches with an Aug. 5 virtual public meeting.

There are three ways to access the event:

The Master Plan will help inform our ongoing work as well as resources and policies that will help keep you moving for years to come. Updating the plan every 10 years provides an opportunity for the public and County stakeholders to identify transportation issues and opportunities, develop a vision and associated goals to guide community growth, and identify transportation investment priorities.
