On January 30, 2025, Rep. Crow criticized certain actions within the FBI leadership by stating that "The FBI Director should be focused on keeping America safe, not political retribution." He further commented on Kash Patel's conduct, suggesting it should be disqualifying due to his actions against law enforcement officers and maintaining an "enemies list."

Later that day, Rep. Crow reported convening a meeting with local immigration groups to address the impact of executive orders issued by President Trump. In a tweet from January 30, 2025, he stated "Convened an important meeting with local immigration groups to discuss President Trump’s executive orders and their impact on our schools, businesses, and places of worship." He emphasized that threats of mass deportation are wrong and highlighted the role of immigrants in communities.

On January 31, 2025, Rep. Crow shared a personal message of congratulations for a new addition to Brittany's family. He tweeted "Congratulations on your growing family and beautiful new baby boy, Brittany!"
