Jason Crow, a U.S. Congressman representing Colorado's 6th district since 2019, has expressed concerns over recent political actions via social media. Crow, who succeeded Mike Coffman in Congress and holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin and the University of Denver, used his platform to address issues regarding public lands and military personnel changes.
On February 21, 2025, Crow addressed former President Donald Trump directly with a tweet: "Keep your hands off our public lands, @realDonaldTrump."
In another post dated February 22, 2025, Crow voiced his concerns about changes within the Department of Defense: "The purge of senior officers at DOD is deeply troubling, but purging JAG officers worries me the most. JAG officers interpret law for our commanders. They help determine what's lawful and constitutional. Replacing these military lawyers with trump loyalists is so dangerous."
Later that day on February 22, he further elaborated on his apprehensions regarding military leadership changes: "Firing qualified top military commanders will hurt military readiness and make America less safe. National security should rise above partisan politics. My fellow Republican & Democratic veterans are demanding answers "
